Zafraan Group Of Restaurent is tucked away on the first floor of a building in Anandnagar Colony. If you know Khairtabad in Hyderabad, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We’ve got this spot at H 6-3-616 and it’s where all the planning for the food happens. It’s not a huge place, just a bunch of desks and some old chairs where we sit and argue about recipes or which supplier is running late today. The kitchen smells usually drift up from somewhere nearby, which makes us all hungry by noon. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for some time and we like the vibe of the colony. People are always walking by, and you can hear the autos honking down the street all day long. Managing a group of restaurants means there is never a quiet moment. One day it’s a fridge breaking down, and the next it’s a menu change that everyone has a different opinion on. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. We aren't trying to be some high-end corporate office with glass walls. We just want the food to taste good and the customers to be happy when they leave.
