Woodland Restaurant

Woodland Restaurant is sitting right at 30-161/16 in Shafi Nagar, which is over in the Moulali part of Malkajgiri. We have been here in Hyderabad for years, and it is a place where most people in the neighborhood know us by now. The kitchen gets going pretty early in the morning and stays hot until we close up late at night. It is a small place, so when the lunch rush starts, it can get quite loud with all the plates clinking and people talking. We do not have any of those fancy decorations or a big, polished dining room. It is just tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of our time just keeping the floors clean and making sure the food goes out as fast as we can manage. Our menu is not huge, but we stick to what we know how to cook well every day. A lot of our business is actually people calling in for take-away because they are too tired to cook after a long shift. We get our supplies from the local markets nearby, so things are usually fresh. It is hard work being on your feet all day in the heat, but we like the people who come in. We see the same faces every week, and that makes it feel like a real community spot. It is just a regular eatery.
