Wallem Ship Management Ltd.

We are over here in the HIG Complex at Bhel R.C. Puram in Hyderabad. It’s an area most people know for the big factory nearby, but we spend our time dealing with the logistics of ships. Even though the ocean is nowhere near this part of India, we stay busy managing crews and making sure vessels get from one port to another without too much trouble. It's a lot of paperwork and phone calls at odd hours because of the different time zones. The office is pretty standard. We have desks piled with folders and tea is always going around. Some days are quieter than others, but mostly it's just keeping up with the regulations and the needs of the sailors. People might wonder why a shipping management company is tucked away in this part of town, but it works for us. We've got a small group of staff who have been doing this for a while now. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just the basics to get the job done every day. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out for a bit, but that's just how it is here. We just pick up where we left off. It’s steady work, and we like being part of the local neighborhood while dealing with things that are happening thousands of miles away on the water. That’s pretty much our daily life here at Wallem.
