Tirmala Aerated Blocks

Tirmala Aerated Blocks is out in Eikatta Village, which is part of the Farook Nagar Mandal in Mahoboobnagar. Being out here at number 550 means it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big city, though we still get plenty of trucks coming through for the blocks. The air is a bit cleaner out here in the village, except for when we’re moving the materials around. We have a lot of space in the yard for stacking the aerated blocks, which is good because they take up quite a bit of room. The workers are mostly guys from the surrounding villages who walk or bike in every morning. We don’t really have a big sign or anything flashy. People mostly find us because they know where Eikatta is or they’ve seen our trucks on the road. The pace is a bit different here, a bit more relaxed than the city but the work is still heavy. We spend our days checking the mixes and making sure the blocks are coming out right. Sometimes the local kids wander by or a stray dog finds some shade under the stacks. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We don’t worry about fancy talk or corporate rules, we just focus on the blocks and making sure the stacks don't tip over during the rainy season.
