KARIMNAGAR BRICKS

Being in Allwyn Colony, Phase 1, means we are right in the middle of all the noise in Kukatpally. It is a busy place to run a brick business, but the location is handy for people building nearby. The yard is usually crowded with stacks of material, and we have to be careful how we park the trucks so we don't block the narrow lanes. It gets very loud during the day with all the traffic and the construction going on in every direction. We usually open up early before the city traffic gets too crazy. The ground is often covered in loose sand and broken bits of brick, so you have to watch your step when you walk through the gate. We have a small corner with a table where we do all the paperwork by hand. It is not a polished office by any means, just a practical space where we can sit down for a minute. The staff has been with us for a while, and we all know the routine of loading and unloading without needing to say much. Some days the sun is beating down on the concrete and it feels like an oven, but we just keep moving. It is a tough job, but someone has to supply the materials for all these new houses going up around us. We just try to stay organized and keep the trucks moving in and out as fast as possible.
