We run a small setup here in Meerpet. If you know where the Janapriya Apartments are, we're just right by there in Mlr Colony. It started out because we saw how much construction was happening around this part of town and figured people needed a steady supply of blocks. We aren't a giant factory with hundreds of people, just a local crew making Aac blocks day in and day out. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just part of the job. People usually call us or drop by the yard when they're starting a new house or fixing up a wall. We don't do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from folks telling their neighbors about us. It's been a few years now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The blocks we make are pretty straightforward. We spend a lot of time checking the mix and making sure the sizes are right because nobody wants a wall that isn't straight. It can be hard work, especially when the weather gets really hot, but we keep at it. Usually, one of us is around if you need to talk about a load for a project. We just try to get the orders out and keep the site moving. It’s not a complicated business, just making sure the blocks are okay and getting them where they need to go without too much fuss.
