Shree Vinayaka Cement Bricks

Most mornings at Shree Vinayaka Cement Bricks start with the sound of the big mixer turning. We are located right near the Narayan IIT Campus, and if you are driving on the Outer Ring Road and take Exit Number 3 toward Patighanpur, you will see our yard. It gets pretty dusty out here in Medak, especially when the wind picks up across the Mandal-Pathancheru area. We spend a lot of time just stacking things and making sure the water for the mix is ready. The sun hits the yard hard by noon, and that is usually when things get a bit slower. It is not a fancy place, just a lot of grey bricks and heavy lifting. We have a couple of old trucks that go in and out all day. Sometimes the traffic near the campus makes things difficult, but we manage to get the loads out eventually. People from around the local villages stop by to ask about prices or just to see what we have ready in the stacks. We do not have a big office or anything like that. Usually, one of us is just sitting on a plastic chair near the gate with a notebook. It is hard work, and our clothes are always covered in cement dust by the time we head home. We just keep the machines running and try to stay ahead of the orders that come in from the nearby construction sites. It is just a regular local business.
