Our place is on Charminar Road, specifically at 69-8-24 in Darushifa. It's a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our gate. The traffic can be a nightmare when we’re trying to move the big trucks in and out, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly focus on getting the bricks out to the sites on time. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity is high. My hands are always stained with that reddish color from the clay, and it never really washes off completely. We have a small yard, so we have to be smart about how we stack everything. If you don't stack them right, you lose space and things get messy. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the office; they keep the place feeling a bit more like home. The office itself is just a small room with a fan that makes a clicking noise. We sit there and handle the paperwork while the guys are out back doing the heavy lifting. Darushifa is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we get a lot of walk-in business. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a phone and a notebook. It’s worked for us so far. We just try to keep the bricks moving and keep the yard clear for the next batch coming in from the kiln. It's simple, really.
