The Golkanda Hyderabad

We are based out of the Balaji Boys Hostel area in Ameerpet. It is right near the Lal Bungalow. If you have ever spent any time in Hyderabad, you know how crowded Ameerpet gets at all hours. There are students everywhere and hundreds of little shops. Our spot is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The 500016 area is always on the move. We have a small space where we manage our daily affairs. It is not a big fancy building like you see in the newer parts of the city. It is mostly just a practical place for us to be because everything we need is within walking distance. We see a lot of young guys coming and going from the various hostels on our street. The traffic on the main road nearby is usually a complete mess. We often have our lunch at one of the tiny food stalls around the corner. The building we are in is quite old. We do not have much room for guests to sit around. It is primarily a place for us to keep our equipment and handle the books. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow in the afternoons. We have been in Hyderabad for many years. This part of town has a very specific feel that we are used to. It is busy and loud and very much alive. We just fit right in here with everyone else.
