Teacher

It is a bit of a trek getting out here to Kesamudram every day, but that is just how it goes when you are working as a teacher in this part of Warangal. The school is right here in the Mandal, and most days it gets pretty hot under the sun. We spend a lot of time just managing things in the classroom and making sure the kids actually show up. The post office is nearby and that is how we get most of our mail and supplies. Andhra Pradesh has some long summers, so the fans are always going. People around here know where we are, right in the heart of the district. It is not some fancy building with glass walls or anything like that. Just a plain place where lessons happen. I have been here for a while now and you get used to the pace of life. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going with the chalk and board.
