Surya Recidency

We are located out in Doddipatala, which is part of the Elamanchile area in West Godavari. If you are looking for Surya Recidency, we are the building that D. Venkateswara Rao looks after. It’s pretty quiet out here compared to the bigger cities in Andhra Pradesh. We get travelers coming through who need a place to stay for a night or two. The rooms are basic but they do the job. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and talking to the people who stop by. It’s a family-run kind of feel. The weather can get really hot in the summer, so we try to keep things as cool as possible inside. You won't find anything too fancy here. We have a few trees around the property that give some shade. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, but that is just how it is in this part of India. We know most of our neighbors and everyone helps each other out. Our address is right in the middle of the local community. We have been here for a good while and people know where to find us. It’s not a big hotel with uniforms and all that. It’s just us. We make sure the beds are made and the floors are swept every single day. If you happen to be in West Godavari, you will see us there. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful.
