You can find us at 5-8-623 on Abids Road. This street is always moving and there is never a dull moment when you look out the front door. Suraj Bhan Jewellers has been sitting right here through all the various changes on this road over the years. The shop is a bit on the older side, with wooden counters and floors that have seen a lot of footsteps, but it feels like home to us. We don't have a marketing team or anyone telling us how we should look to the public. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to customers like they are our neighbors, which many of them actually are. Sometimes the inventory gets a little unorganized when we get a sudden rush of people, but we always manage to find what someone is looking for. Dealing with jewelry means you have to be very careful, so we spend a lot of our time double-checking every little thing. It involves a lot of sitting and looking through small magnifying lenses. Abids Road can be very noisy with all the car horns and people shouting, but inside the shop, it is mostly just the sound of us talking or working on a specific piece. We don't have fancy lights or a perfectly polished floor. It is just a place where we do our jobs and try to be helpful. (247 words)
