Alexs Kitchen Chinese Restaurant

Our little spot is right on the ground floor of the Anasuya Commercial Complex. If you know where the TTD Kalyana Mandapam is in Himayat Nagar, then you basically know where we are because we’re right across from it. Liberty X Roads is always a bit of a mess with traffic, especially when there’s a big event or a wedding at the mandapam, but that’s just life in Hyderabad. We’ve been serving Chinese food here for some time now. The kitchen gets quite hot, and the staff is usually running around trying to keep up with the lunch orders from people in the nearby offices. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the ceiling fans are going full speed and the street noise comes in through the open door. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure the tables are wiped down and the food goes out reasonably fast. People from the commercial complex stop in because we’re easy to get to on the ground floor. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients by late evening, but we just make do with what we have left. It’s a plain, functional kitchen without any expensive decorations. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements because we’re mostly focused on the stove and the orders coming in from the delivery guys waiting outside on their bikes. It’s just Alexs Kitchen, sitting here near the crossroads, doing what we do every day without much fuss or extra talk.
