Al Labbaik Shawarma

Our shop is in Flat No 106 of the Mujahiddin Estates, located in the Mehdipatnam area of Hyderabad. Mehdipatnam is one of those places that never really seems to sleep, and we are right in the middle of it. We specialize in shawarma, so you will always see the meat spinning on the vertical grill near the entrance. The smell of the roasting meat is what usually brings people in from the street. It is a small space, so most of our customers just stand and eat or take their food to go. We spend most of the afternoon prepping the meat and making the sauces from scratch. It is a lot of slicing and dicing before we even open for the evening rush. The evenings are definitely the most hectic time for us. We have a lot of students and young people who stop by for a quick bite after their classes or work. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and people have to wait on the sidewalk, but we try to move as fast as we can. The heat from the grill can be quite a lot during the summer months, but it is just part of the job. We are not trying to be a five-star place; we just want to serve the food we make and keep the shop running. It is a simple setup with a focus on the grill and the people who come to eat.
