Al Khaja Caterers

We are located at 12-1-1115/11 in North Lalaguda, Secunderabad. Our workshop is right beside the Best Ice Factory, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Catering is a different kind of business compared to a regular restaurant because we are often working on large orders for events and functions. The space here is mostly taken up by large cooking vessels and big burners that can handle heavy quantities of food. It is a noisy and busy environment most of the time. We start our work very early, often while the rest of the city is still asleep, especially if we have a lunch delivery to make. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved with moving the pots and getting the packing done. The smell of wood fire or gas is always in the air. We do not have a dining area here since we mostly send the food out to other locations. It is mostly about logistics and timing for us. If the rice is not ready on time, everything else gets delayed, so we have to be very careful with our clocks. The staff consists of people who are used to working in the heat for long hours. It is a tough job but it is what we do for a living. We do not have a fancy office or anything, just a functional space where the cooking happens every day.
