Stem (Pty) Ltd (The Regal Restaurant)

Our place, Stem (Pty) Ltd, which is also known as The Regal Restaurant, is located at Hill Fort Road. Specifically, we are in Flat 103 of the Hill Fort Apartments, address 5-10-191/A. Hyderabad 500-004 is a busy area. Being in an apartment building for a restaurant business sounds a bit different, but it’s how we have it set up. We do a lot of our management and prep work from here. The road outside is always full of traffic since it's a central part of the city. We have a kitchen area and some office space. It’s not a massive hall with hundreds of tables. It feels more personal this way. We spend our mornings getting everything ready for the day. There is always a lot of cleaning and chopping to do. We have a small staff and we all pitch in. Sometimes we sit in the flat and discuss the menu or look at the bills. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have any big marketing teams. We just rely on the food and people knowing where we are. The apartment building is quite old but it has a lot of character. We like the neighborhood. There are lots of other shops and homes around us. It feels like a real community. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to serve good food at The Regal Restaurant. Stem (Pty) Ltd is the name on the papers, but to most people, we are just the place in Flat 103.
