Sri Ram Jewellers

If you walk down Abid Road, you’ll find us at 4-1-857. This building has been here forever, and we’ve been part of the street for a long time. Sri Ram Jewellers is just a regular place where we sell gold and silver stuff. We open the shutters early in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to come through the door. It’s usually quiet until the afternoon when the street gets busy. We don’t have those big bright lights like the new shops in the malls. We just have our old wooden counters and the same fans that have been spinning for years. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but we manage. People come to us because they know where we are. They don’t need a map or a fancy sign. We handle everything from small nose pins to heavier necklaces for weddings. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do right by the people who walk in. A lot of our customers are old-timers who remember coming here with their parents. We talk about the old days while looking at gold prices on the news. It’s a slow process sometimes, picking out the right piece, but we don't mind the wait. We're just here on Abid Road, doing what we've always done.
