Sri Koushik Foods

Sri Koushik Foods is located at Shop No 4, 2-3-655/C/S in Durganagar Colony, Amberpet. Our postal code is 500013. We are right in the heart of the colony. It’s a small shop, but we manage to fit a lot into it. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day. There is always something to be cleaned or arranged on the shelves. The space is a bit tight, especially when more than two people come in at once. We’ve been here for a good while, so the locals know us by name. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name on the board above the door. Sometimes the new stock arrives in big crates that take up all the floor space for an hour or two. We have to work fast to get everything put away. The fridge hums quite loudly in the back. It’s a sound we don't even notice anymore. We don't use any fancy systems for our sales. Just a simple ledger and a small drawer for the cash. In the evenings, the colony gets quite busy with people coming home from work. That's usually our busiest time. We keep the door open to let the breeze in, though it also brings in a bit of dust from the road. It’s just a simple food shop run by people who live nearby.
