Sr Captain

You can find us over at Hotel Baseraa on S.D. Road in Secunderabad. It is a very busy street, always full of cars and people rushing somewhere. We are right in the thick of it. Being inside the hotel means we see all sorts of travelers coming in and out. Some are tired from long journeys and others are just here for a quick meal. Our setup is right there, and we spend our shifts making sure everything is running okay. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people. We don't have a big back office; we are mostly out where the action is. The lobby has that specific hotel smell, and the noise of the traffic stays outside once the glass doors shut. It’s a decent place to work. We have been here for a while, and the staff at Baseraa are like family to us now. We see the same regulars who come for their morning tea or business meetings. It’s a steady rhythm of work. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just stay at our post and handle what comes our way. The clock on the wall is usually our main focus as the day goes by. It’s a simple life on S.D. Road. We see the sun come up over the buildings and watch the city lights come on at night from the lobby windows. It is just a job, but we do it every day without much bother.
