Southbros Balas Authentic Kitchen Private Limited is right in the heart of Himayatnagar at 3-6-386. If you know Hyderabad, you know Himayatnagar is always buzzing with people and cars. Our kitchen is tucked away here, and it’s where all the cooking happens. We focus on traditional food, the kind of stuff we grew up eating at home. It’s a busy kitchen, and it gets pretty loud with the clanging of pots and the sound of the exhaust fans. We aren't a big chain with a hundred locations. We’re just this one spot trying to keep the authentic flavors going. Sometimes we run out of ingredients because the market was short on something, and we have to change the menu on the fly. That’s just part of the daily life here in a food business. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy cooking to worry about that right now. We have a few regulars who come by almost every day, and we know their orders by heart. It’s nice to have that connection with the neighborhood. Working in a kitchen is hard on your feet, and the hours are long, but we’ve got a good rhythm down. We don't have a mission statement or a corporate philosophy. We just have recipes that have been passed down and a lot of respect for the food. It’s a simple life, and we like it here.
