Our place is in the Ahmed Residency building, room 201 on the second floor. It’s tucked away in Osmanpura, which is part of the Kattalguda and Chaderghat area. It’s an old part of Hyderabad, so the streets are narrow and full of life. We are an "one person company," so things are pretty tight-knit here. We focus on food, specifically the kind of stuff that tastes like home. We don't have a giant kitchen with hundreds of staff. It’s more of a small-scale operation where we focus on the recipes we know. Chaderghat is a place where people really know their food, so we have to be careful not to cut corners. It’s a lot of hard work, mostly in the heat, getting things ready. We handle everything from buying the ingredients to making sure the packages get out the door. The building isn't very new, and the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up, which it sometimes does. We just keep going because we like what we do. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just want the food to taste right. If it doesn't, we hear about it pretty quick from the locals. We aren't fancy people. We just work out of this apartment turned office and try to make a living with good food.
