Vivin Spices

We’ve been running Vivin Spices for a while now from our spot at 5 3 760 to 763/7 in the Amarnath Residency area. It’s not a fancy setup, just a place where we get the work done every day. When you walk in, the smell of the different peppers and seeds hits you right away. Some days it’s stronger than others, depending on what we are grinding or packing at the moment. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. The neighbors in the residency know us pretty well because of the constant hum of the machinery. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside the doors. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure everything is sealed up right before it goes out. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we have to spend the last hour of the day just cleaning the floors and tables. It’s hard work, and your hands end up smelling like turmeric or cumin for days, but that’s just how it is in this trade. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk tucked in the corner where the paperwork stays piled up. It’s mostly family and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up.
