Dadimalella Kurvamma

Our spot is over at 16-11-16/Cg/38/24/H in Afzal Nagar. It’s tucked away in the Chandra Huts area of Malakpet, which stays pretty crowded most of the day. It’s a small operation, really just a way to keep things going. We don’t have a big sign or any bright lights to get people's attention. Most of our neighbors just know us by name. The streets around here are narrow and there is always someone passing by on a scooter or walking to the market. We spend most of the day right here, dealing with whatever comes our way. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It’s not a polished business with fancy carpets or secretaries. It’s just a place where we sit and work. Sometimes we drink a lot of tea while we wait for things to pick up. Malakpet is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic nearby, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and it’s become like a second home. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. If people need something, they just walk up and ask. Dadimalella Kurvamma is just about being here and doing the work that needs doing.
