Our place is over at H.No 1-11-201/1 in the Begumpet area. Since it is such a busy part of Hyderabad, there is always a lot of noise from the street outside our window. We have a small office here where we handle various tour and travel arrangements. It is mostly just a few desks and a lot of folders full of papers. We spend the morning answering emails and then spend the rest of the day talking to people who are planning their next trip. It involves a lot of talking on the phone and our voices often get tired by the evening. Begumpet has so much traffic that we hear honking all day long, but we have gotten used to it by now. We have a small kettle in the corner of the room to make tea, which helps us get through the long afternoons. The office is a functional space and we do not spend much time worrying about how it looks. We have some maps pinned to the wall so we can show travelers where they might be headed. We talk to all kinds of people, from those who have everything planned out to those who have no idea where to go. It is a simple process of checking prices and dates on the computer. We stay until everything is sorted, even if it means we miss the early bus home. It is just our daily routine at this spot.
