Ramaiah Caterers

We are based at 1-9-634/C/3 in Vidya Nagar. Our setup here is mostly about the kitchen work. Since we are Ramaiah Caterers, we don't really have a place for people to sit down and eat. Instead, we are always busy preparing large quantities of food for events and parties around Hyderabad. The mornings start very early for us, often before the sun is even up, so we can get the fires going and the big pots boiling. There is a lot of chopping, stirring, and packing involved. It’s a hot and noisy environment with the stoves running and everyone moving quickly to meet the delivery times. We use a lot of stainless steel containers to transport the meals. Sometimes we are catering for a small family gathering, and other times it is a much larger event. The logistics of getting the food to the location while it is still fresh can be a bit of a headache with the city traffic. We’ve had times where the van gets stuck or we are running behind, but we just keep pushing through. It’s not a glamorous job. It’s mostly about sweat and making sure the salt is right in a fifty-kilo batch of rice. We have been working out of this Vidya Nagar location for years and it suits what we do just fine.
