Being in Ameerpet means there is never any silence. We are located in the Shaili Apartments, specifically on the 4th floor of the Royal Pavilion. It’s right beside the old RBI quarters and near that old Gold Spot lane that everyone uses for a shortcut. The building also has the Aditya Womens Hostel, so there are always people coming and going at all hours. Our office is a bit crowded with desks and wires everywhere. We handle a lot of different processes and paperwork for other companies. It’s the kind of work where you spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking on the phone. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow, so many of us just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. You can smell the street food from the balcony, which makes everyone hungry around four o'clock. We don't have a big reception area or anything polished. It’s just a workspace where we try to stay organized despite the chaos of the neighborhood. The traffic outside is constant, and you can hear the horns even with the windows shut. We keep our heads down and get through the tasks. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big deadline, and the whole place feels different when it’s finally quiet. It’s just a group of people working together in a very busy part of Hyderabad, trying to keep things moving along day by day.
