P&O Cruises ( U.K)

This is our small office in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, with the postal code 520 011. Even though the name is connected to big ships in the UK, we are just a local point for people in this part of India. We handle a lot of the local inquiries and help folks understand what they need to do if they want to get involved with the cruise lines. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some brochures about ships, and a phone that doesn't stop ringing. It’s a long way from the ocean here in Vijayawada, but we stay busy. We talk to a lot of young people who are looking for work on the ships. We also help people who are planning a holiday. We aren't a big travel agency with a storefront in a mall. We are just in a regular building doing our daily work. There is usually a bit of a wait if you come in without calling first because there are only a few of us here. We spend our time checking documents and explaining how the cruise world works. It is a lot of paperwork and talking. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the essentials for the job. We've been at this spot for a while and we know the area well. It’s just a regular office where we try to help people figure out their travel or work plans without making things too complicated.
