The office is located at E.W.S.H 199 in the II Phase of Hyderabad. This is in the 500 040 pin code area. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the other side of the city. The neighborhood is mostly residential with these EWS houses lined up. Our spot is just one of those units converted for our use. It is not very big, just enough room for a couple of desks and some storage shelves. The walls are a neutral color, and we have a few old calendars hanging up. We usually start the day by opening the windows to let out the stuffiness, though that also lets in the noise from the street. There are always kids playing nearby or neighbors talking over their fences. It is a very local feel, not like the big tech parks you see in other parts of Hyderabad. We handle our daily tasks here, mostly paperwork and some local coordination. The furniture is a mix of things we have gathered over the years, so nothing really matches. We have a small water cooler in the corner that makes a glugging sound every now and then. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the occasional delivery truck trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. We have gotten used to the rhythm of Phase II. It is just where we do our thing, away from the main commercial hubs but still part of the city’s sprawl.
