Novotel Hyderabad Airport

Working at the Novotel Hyderabad Airport in Shamshabad is a bit different because of the location. We are right by the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. It’s a lot quieter than the city, but you always have the sound of planes taking off and landing. The office space we use is modern but not overly fancy. We have big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice, but it also gets very hot in the afternoons. We handle all the administrative work and the bookings from here. It’s a lot of staring at screens and talking to people on headsets. We don't really wear suits or anything too stiff unless there’s a reason. Most of us just wear regular office clothes. The commute to Shamshabad can be long for those living in the city, so we try to make the office feel comfortable. We have a small area where we keep our lunch boxes and a microwave that everyone shares. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have any mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the rooms ready and the guests happy. It feels like a big team effort every single day. The airport area is always expanding, so there’s always something new happening outside our doors.
