Narsing Lodge Pan Shop

This is Narsing Lodge Pan Shop, and you can find us at Shop No 5-1-549,6 in Troop Bazar. We are right in Abids, Hyderabad 500001. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the lane that goes to Tirupati Balaji Lodge. It is a small shop, mostly focused on pan, cigarettes, and some small snacks. I have been sitting at this counter for many years now. The lane across from us is always busy with travelers and people staying at the lodges nearby. It is a very specific kind of business. I spend a lot of time preparing the pan leaves and keeping the glass jars of sweets and mouth fresheners filled up. The space is tiny, but it’s enough for what we do. It’s mostly just me here. I watch the traffic go by on the main road and talk to the regulars who stop for a quick break. The shop doesn't have much in the way of decoration. It is just a practical place for people passing through or living in the area. Abids is a historic part of the city, and being here feels like being part of the old Hyderabad. My days are long, often stretching late into the night because that's when the area is most alive. There is nothing complicated about it, just a small pan shop on a busy street corner where we've been for a long time. People stop by, chat for a minute, and then move on with their night.
