N R B Bearings

We are tucked away in Eden House, which is Office No. 3-5-121 in the Ramkote area. Most people know the spot because we are quite close to the old Shalimar Theatre. It’s a landmark that helps folks find us when they are driving around. N R B Bearings has been in this office for a long time. The space is mostly filled with metal parts and catalogs. Bearings are heavy things, so our shelves have to be really sturdy to hold all that weight. We spend a lot of our time looking up part numbers and checking our inventory lists. It isn't the most glamorous work, but people need these parts to keep their machines running. The office itself is pretty basic with some old wooden furniture and a clock that ticks a bit too loud. We get a lot of walk-ins from people working in the nearby shops who need a quick replacement part. Sometimes we have to order things in, and that takes a few days, which we always try to explain clearly. The building has that old city feel to it, with narrow hallways and a bit of a draft in the winter. We keep a teapot in the corner for when things slow down in the late afternoon. It’s a steady kind of life here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized amidst all the metal bits. We just want to keep the shop going every day without any fuss.
