We operate out of Janapriya Niwas in the Nacharam area. It is more like a busy workspace than a typical shop you would see on a main street. Most of our time is spent surrounded by cardboard boxes, rolls of tape, and different kinds of wrapping paper. Since our whole thing is about gifts, there is almost always a pile of items waiting to be packed and sent out to someone. We have a small team here and we all chip in with whatever needs doing at the moment. Sometimes the rooms get really cluttered, especially during the holidays when everyone is ordering at once. It is a quiet enough street outside, but inside we are usually moving pretty fast. We check the computer for new orders and then start pulling things from the shelves to get them ready. We do not have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist at the front. It is just a few rooms where we keep our inventory organized. Nacharam is a convenient spot for us because the courier guys can get to us easily for the daily pickups. Sometimes we run out of floor space when a big shipment of new stock arrives, so we have to shift things around just to walk through. It is a very practical setup. We handle all the packing ourselves to make sure things do not get damaged. It is not always perfectly tidy, but we know exactly where everything is stored.
