We've been operating out of Flat 307 in Vijay Nagar Colony for a while now. Indera Nagar is a busy spot in Hyderabad, and our office is right in the middle of it all. People usually just call us up or drop by when they're planning a trip somewhere. We handle the usual things like flight tickets and hotel bookings. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular place where we get work done. We started Media Travels because we liked the idea of helping folks get from one place to another without too much stress. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other days it's a bit quieter. Hyderabad is a big city and there are plenty of travel agents around, so we just try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks through the door. If someone needs a train ticket or wants to know about a holiday package, we look it up and tell them the price. We don't really do the whole corporate pitch thing. It’s mostly just us sitting here with our computers and a few stacks of brochures. Living and working in Hyderabad means we know the local routes pretty well. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years around the colony. It’s nice to have regular faces coming back to us when they need to go visit family or take a break. We just keep plugging away at it every day for now.
