Mandava Tiffins & Caterers

Down in Dilsukhnagar, at Lalitha Nagar, you can find our shop. It is listed as number 9-31. We focus mostly on tiffins and catering for local events. Our day starts really early, usually way before the sun is even up. We have to get the idli batter and the chutneys ready for the morning crowd. Dilsukhnagar is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment. We have a small team here. Some of us stay at the counter while others are busy with the catering orders for weddings or small parties nearby. We don't have a big fancy office. Our work happens around the big pots and the steam from the stove. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we are packing up a big catering order, but that’s just how it goes. People in the neighborhood know us for a quick breakfast or when they need food for a function at home. We use simple ingredients and don't try to make things look like they are from a five-star hotel. It’s just honest cooking. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know a lot of the customers by name. If you are around Lalitha Nagar in the morning, you’ll probably smell what we are cooking. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It keeps us busy and we are fine with that.
