Maks Kitchen The Food Guy

We have our kitchen at Shop No 6 in the PNR Apartment building in Attapur, Hyderabad. It is in the Upperpalli area. Most people around here just call us the food guy because that’s what we do. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area preparing different dishes. It’s a small shop, so there isn’t much room for anything other than the cooking equipment and the counter. We don’t really have a big seating area or a fancy dining room. A lot of our work involves people coming to pick up their food or us sending it out. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see the same people coming by every week. Hyderabad can get very hot, so the kitchen gets quite warm, but we are used to it by now. We don’t have a big corporate office or a boss in a suit. It’s just a few of us working together to get the orders right. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients because the market was short that day. We just tell the customers and they usually understand. We keep things honest and just focus on the cooking. If you are in the Upperpalli part of Attapur, you can probably smell what we are cooking from the street. It’s just a regular local kitchen doing its thing. We aren't doing anything special, just making food for the locals.
