So, we are over in Begumpet at Plot No. 6 in the Methodist Colony. Working with Lic in a place like Hyderabad means there is never really a dull moment. The office is usually pretty full of people coming in to talk about their policies or just asking questions about what they should do with their savings. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. We have stacks of files and forms that need to be filled out exactly right, or else everything gets delayed. The Methodist Colony is a decent spot, but Begumpet can get so loud with the traffic outside. We just sit here and try to help people make sense of all the insurance talk. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s important to the folks who walk through our door. We spend a lot of time explaining the same things over and over, but you have to be patient because it’s people’s money we are talking about. The fans are usually humming away to keep the Hyderabad heat at bay while we work through the pile of applications. It’s a local branch, so we see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the regular work of an insurance office, making sure the records are updated and people get their questions answered. It is just about being here and helping out with the documents every day.
