Liberty Caterers

Himayat Nagar is a busy part of town, and we spend most of our time here at Liberty Caterers inside Surabi Court. We have two flats, 503 and 504, where all the planning and a lot of the work happens. If you know the area, you probably know the old stock exchange building right across from us. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find the place for the first time. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The morning starts early with getting ingredients sorted and making sure the staff knows what the day looks like. It’s not always quiet, especially when the phones are ringing and we’re trying to coordinate deliveries across the city. The elevators in the building can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we end up waiting around or taking the stairs if we’re in a real hurry. Himayat Nagar has changed a lot over the years, but our corner of it feels pretty much the same. We just focus on getting the food out to wherever it needs to go. Sometimes the traffic outside gets backed up near the exchange, which makes things a bit tricky, but we manage to work around it. It’s just a normal workplace with people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just our workspace in the flats.
