Lecturer

My name is Ragalatha and I work as a lecturer. Currently, I am staying at the Shainy Reddy Womens Hostel. It is located in Vinay Nagar Colony, which is part of the I.S. Sadan area in Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad. Living in a hostel while working means life is always a bit communal and busy. I spend most of my day at the college, and then I come back here to prepare for the next day's classes. My room is often filled with books and papers that need grading. It’s not a big professional office, just a small space where I do my thinking and planning. Hyderabad is a great city, but the commute from Santosh Nagar can be tiring sometimes. The hostel life is simple. I share the space with other women who are also working or studying. We have our routines for meals and everything else. I don't have a big staff or a company behind me. It’s just me doing my job as an educator. I've been in this area for a while and I’ve gotten used to the local markets and the way the colony feels in the evening. There isn't much to say about it other than it’s a quiet place to live while I focus on my teaching work. I try to keep things organized, but with so many students and assignments, there is always a bit of a mess on my desk. It gets a bit lonely sometimes being away from family, but the work is rewarding. I usually spend my Sunday afternoons just catching up.
