Lagataar Biryani Llp is right across from the Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Himayath Nagar. The actual address is 3-6-106/F-104 in the Queens Court Apartment building. It’s a busy little area and you can always hear the traffic from the main road. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area or handling the orders that come through. Making biryani is a lot of work and it gets really hot back there with the big pots going. We have been in this spot for a while and the neighbors in the apartment block know us pretty well by now. The morning starts with getting all the rice and meat ready. There isn't much space for sitting around, so everyone is usually on their feet. We don’t use any fancy machines, just the same old way of cooking that takes time. The smell of the spices usually starts to drift out onto the street by noon. Sometimes the diagnostic center across the road gets really crowded and the street gets blocked up with bikes. It’s just a normal part of the day for us. We keep the place as clean as we can and just focus on getting the food out. It’s a simple life, mostly just cooking and cleaning and then doing it all over again the next morning.
