Kushal Logistics is on the second floor at 8-3-231/F/64&65, right above K K Traders in Srikrishna Nagar, Yousufguda. Getting up here means walking past all the boxes and goods from the shop downstairs, which can be a bit of a maze sometimes. Our office is full of maps and schedules pinned to the boards. Because we handle logistics, there is always a bit of chaos with drivers calling about where they are or people asking when their stuff will arrive. The noise from the street is constant, especially the honking from the main road. We don't have any fancy software to do everything; a lot of it is still done with pens and ledgers because that’s what we are used to. The chairs are old and the fans hum quite loudly, but it’s where we get the work done. We don't try to sound like a big international company. We are just a local office trying to make sure things get from one place to another without getting lost. Sometimes a delivery is late because of the rain or a breakdown, and we just have to spend the afternoon making calls to figure it out. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different people all day long. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything, just a few desks and a water cooler in the corner.
