Kadevi Engg. Comp. is situated at 29/203, Gandhar in the Sahara Estate. This is part of the Mansoorabad area near L.B. Nagar in Hyderabad. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a few years now. The estate is a big residential and commercial mix, and we are right in the middle of it. Engineering is a tough business and our office shows it. There’s always some sort of technical drawing on the desk or a part that needs looking at. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People come to us because they know we are at 29/203 and they’ve heard about us from others in the trade. L.B. Nagar is always busy and the traffic around the 500068 area is something we just have to live with. We have a small group of people who know their way around machines and tools. It’s not a corporate environment where everyone wears suits. We’re usually in our regular clothes, getting our hands a bit dirty when we need to. Sometimes projects take longer than we expect because parts don’t arrive or something breaks, but that’s just the way engineering goes. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the job, tell you if we can do it, and then get to work. It’s a quiet life here in Sahara Estate, but we stay busy enough with the work that comes through.
