Javeed Royal Brick

Javeed Royal Brick is tucked away at 2/1/201 in Shirdi Sai Nagar, over in the Manikonda area. This part of town has grown so fast lately, but we are still here doing things the old-fashioned way. The yard is usually full of red earth and the smell of wood smoke when the bricks are being baked in the kiln. It is a messy business, and there is no point in trying to keep your hands clean for very long. We start early when the air is still a bit cool, because once the sun gets high over Manikonda, it is tough to be near the ovens. We have stacks of bricks everywhere, and sometimes it feels like a maze trying to walk from one end of the property to the other. We don't have a fancy showroom or a team of salespeople. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the gate and look for whoever is overseeing the loading. Most of our time is spent making sure the clay is mixed right and the bricks don't crack while they dry out in the open air. It's a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the week, everyone is pretty exhausted. But seeing the trucks go out full of finished bricks makes it feel like we've actually accomplished something useful. Shirdi Sai Nagar is a good spot for us, even if the roads get a bit bumpy for the heavy lorries.
