A K Foods

Down in Gaganpahad, Jalpally, we have our setup for A K Foods. It’s located at 7 3 145/8/4. It’s an area where a lot of stuff gets made and shipped out every day. We spend our days dealing with ingredients and making sure everything is handled the right way. It’s a food business, so there’s always something to clean or something to pack. We aren't a giant multinational brand. It’s just a local operation where we keep an eye on everything ourselves. The smell of the kitchen or the processing area is something you get used to after five minutes. We have a few people helping out. Most of them live nearby. We don't spend money on fancy flyers or posters. People usually find out about us by word of mouth or seeing the trucks. Jalpally is a bit out of the main city center, which gives us the space we need for our work. We started small and we’ve stayed at a size we can manage without getting overwhelmed. Every day involves checking the stock and seeing what needs to go out to the shops. It’s repetitive work but it’s important. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just want the food to be good so people keep coming back. That’s the whole story of A K Foods. We just work hard and hope for the best.
