Intercontinental Hotels Group

You might recognize the name Intercontinental Hotels Group, but our local office here is actually quite modest. We’re located at 232/2Rt in Vijaya Nagar, Hyderabad. It’s a regular building in a busy part of the city. No grand lobby or gold-plated fixtures here, just a bunch of us working at our desks. We deal with all sorts of things related to the hotels from this little spot. The traffic in Hyderabad can be a real headache sometimes, so getting to the office in the morning usually takes longer than we’d like. Once we’re here, it’s mostly about answering emails and checking schedules. The office has that typical lived-in feel, with some half-empty coffee mugs and piles of folders that need filing. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, which is good for people-watching when we take a break. It’s a practical workspace and we’ve been here long enough that the nearby tea stall knows exactly how we like our chai. People think of big fancy hotels when they hear our name, but this office is just where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just what we need to get the job done. It’s a bit noisy when the city gets busy, but we’ve grown to like the energy of Vijaya Nagar. We’re just a regular team doing our part.
