In Manjira

I’ve been coming here to In Manjira in Hyderabad for a while now. It’s just one of those places you get used to after the first week. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the blinds down most of the day. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows aren't shut tight, but mostly it's just the sound of people talking or the hum of the AC unit that needs a bit of a fix. Hyderabad is always busy, and being around here feels like you’re right in the middle of it all, even if our little corner is quiet. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don't have fancy stuff, just desks and chairs and too many cables under the feet. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the morning. It’s not a big corporate glass tower or anything like that. Just a place where we get things done and go home when the sun sets. You know how it is, just a regular spot in a big city. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. Everyone knows everyone else's name, which is nice.
