Icici Bank Limited

This is the branch for Icici Bank Limited out here in the Nalgonda District. We are part of the landscape here in AP India and it is a pretty regular way to spend the day. Working in a bank in a place like Nalgonda means you get to know the locals really well. Farmers come in after their work and we see a lot of people from the nearby villages too. It is not like the big offices you see in the city. Things move a bit slower here and we like it that way I suppose. We spend our time counting out cash and checking the books to make sure everything adds up at the end of the day. The building isn't anything special to look at but it is solid and keeps us cool when the sun is beating down outside. People come to us for all sorts of things like loans or just to put their savings away for a while. We have been in Nalgonda for a good while and the staff here knows most of the customers by name. It is more about the community than just the numbers on the screen. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit but they usually understand. AP India has its own pace and we just follow along with it. We keep our station clean and try to get through the queue before the doors close in the evening. It is a long day but it feels alright to be helpful.
