Hydrabad House

Hydrabad House is tucked away in Salarjung Colony. The address is 9-4-86/222/13, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here. We’ve been serving food in this spot for a long time. It’s a local place through and through. The kitchen is always hot and smells like spices and rice. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old photos and simple tables. Most of the people who work here have been together for years. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery and the chairs might creak, but that’s just the character of the place. We see a lot of students and families from the colony. It’s a community spot. We don’t spend money on big ads. People know where we are. At the end of the day, we clean up the big pots, mop the floors, and shut the doors. It’s tiring work, but it’s what we know. We just keep it simple and keep the food coming. Usually, we sit down together for a late meal after the last customer leaves. It’s the best part of the long day for most of us working here in the colony.
