We’ve been here in Gunfoundry for a while now, right near the Hanuman Temple and the Telephone Bhavan. The morning starts pretty early for us because the kitchen needs to get going way before the sun is even up properly. Usually, it's just the sound of crates being moved and the big pots clanging around while we prep the rice and onions. Gunfoundry gets quite busy during the day, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before the traffic really picks up outside at 5-9-774. We aren't a big fancy operation, just a team of people who know how to handle large orders for parties and functions around the city. The space here is mostly about the work. There’s always someone chopping something or checking the heat on the stoves. It gets hot in the back, especially when several big orders are going out at once. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the temple across the way is a constant. People stop by to ask about menus or just to see what’s cooking for the day. It’s a lot of manual labor, cleaning up after ourselves, and making sure the food is ready on time. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a delivery is running late, but we manage to get it sorted. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure it gets where it needs to go without much trouble.
