Hotel The Manoher

You can find us at 18/37 Pathasarathy Nagar 2nd Street in Adampakkam. Chennai is a hot city, and our little corner here in Adampakkam stays pretty busy most of the year. Hotel The Manoher isn't one of those giant luxury places with a thousand rooms and gold elevators. We’re a more modest setup, focusing on giving people a decent place to stay while they’re in town for work or visiting family. The street is a typical Chennai street—a bit narrow, sometimes a bit noisy, but it’s home to us. We have a few floors of rooms and a small staff that looks after everything from the laundry to the front desk. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the rooms are clean, and helping guests find their way around the neighborhood. It’s hard work keeping a hotel running 24 hours a day, and there’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb that’s gone out. We don’t have a big restaurant on the premises, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby that we usually recommend to our guests. Most of the people who stay with us are regulars who come back every time they are in Chennai because they know what to expect. It’s a simple, honest business. We just try to make sure everyone has a quiet night and a good start to their day before they head back out.
