We’ve been over here at Asif Nagar in Mehdipatnam for a while now. Most folks know the Taj Banjara name, but for us, it's just where we show up every morning to start the day. The traffic around this part of Hyderabad can get pretty heavy, especially near our 10-2-348/B spot, but once people step inside, things get a lot quieter. We have the usual rooms and facilities you’d expect from a hotel in Andhra Pradesh. It isn't just about the building, though. It’s about the staff who have been here for years and the locals who stop by. Some of us actually grew up in the nearby neighborhoods. We see travelers coming in from all over India and sometimes from other countries too. The lobby stays pretty busy most of the time. We try to keep things running right without making a big fuss or using a lot of fancy words. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit hectic when a large group arrives for a meal, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We handle the check-ins, keep the floors clean, and make sure the AC is working right because it gets very hot in Hyderabad. There’s a lot of history in this part of town if you take a walk around. We don't spend much time talking about how big the place is. We just focus on the tasks right in front of us. It’s a job, but it’s also a place where we’ve spent a lot of our lives together. We’re just a regular part of the local scene here.
